22rbc led bulb replacement

1st Mod

Changed out all running lights and brake lights to led and couldn't be happier. Lights are nice and bright the issues of one of my tail lights being dimmer than the other is gone.

Did you replace the bulbs or the entire housing?

LED Running lights....ICYMI.

I replaced the running lights and brake lights on my 2109 Mini-Lite and wasn't real happy with the brightness. However I learned here that by adding metal tape, to the inside back that is black plastic, provides a reflective quality, and it significantly increases the brightness. Simple effective fix, especially if you have the tape. You could probably use the white part of the red and white reflective marking tape if you have that. It doesn't have to be pretty to be effective as it is covered by the lens.

Thanks for the tip i'll have to take a look when i get a chance to hook up at night to see how it looks but so far with daylight conditions they are brighter than the halogens that were there in the first place
