5th wheel frames
I've seen quite a few posts on here about frames cracking and breaking. Particularly Lippert frames. I just bought a new 2013 Sabre 34 REQS-6 5er, and to be quite serious I'm a bit concerned about this issue. My unit should be in this week. Has anyone had problems like this with their Sabre? And if so how was the issue resolved? Thanks for any replies.

When I toured the Sabre plant, I spent a lot of time inspecting Lippert frames at the begining of the line. I was impressed at the construction and the numerous reinforcement brackets welded at stress areas and angles. As f110turbo said, don't overload it. That's why I won't let my M-I-L in my Columbus

"Mostly happens to lite weights and ultra lights."
==============================
What proof is there of that claim?
I have never heard of a Rockwood/Flagstaff light-weight fifth wheel frame failure.

No hurt feelings.
I simply do not like false claims.
But that is just me.

Info pack in my 2011 Flagstaff 8524rls says (can't think of the name right now) frame, not the lippert that has all the problems, although someone on one of these threads said lippert bought out (maybe Dexter) the other company. Wayne

I believe that Lippert supplies frames for the vast majority of RV manufacturers. I think there's a few, high end manufacturers that still make their own frames.
Given that, you have to hope for the best. Perhaps they have those problems behind them.
