Air, Satellite, Surround Sound, DVD
 ALL hooked up and working, hope nobody asks me how i did it, 'cause i'm not really sure-- had son in-law come over and do it-- some wires changed around and a couple added, now just have to remember how to switch between them all with 3 controls. Just thought I'd let you know it is possible to get it to work.

We are waiting for the cable. And currently on the hunt for another HD Satellite dish.

You mean there weren't step by step directions in your owner's manual? There was in mine! Made it easy as 1-2-4, I mean 3.
Awesome sound system and TV, though, isn't it?

Probably was instructions, but what man reads instructions? Thats toooo e-z...

For those of you that recently purchased a Columbus, how is your TV connected to your Panasonic/Samsung receiver?
Mine has a coax cable. I was at my dealer yesterday and some of the new Columbus there use an RCA video cable.
Why couldn't I use a HDMI cable?

I'm not an electronics geek, i looked at the directions and got a little confused, so I took them to Best Buy and a guy there told me to add a Audio Fiber-Optic cable and the surround sound would work-- they wanted $32 for one so i went home and found one on ebay for 2.25 and got it-- hooked it up and "BINGO" surround sound- then to get the sattelite working-- had son-in-law come hook that up. Now ALL things work--I hope....

haha, yep.
Just because the guy has a degree in mechanical engineering doesn't mean he knows how to put this grill together.
