Did you lube the sliding rail all over? If not try lubing the entire sliding mechanism.

You may need to run it in and out a few times, lubing it each time before you get it to stop yelling at you.

Yes, you will need to lube more than just the teeth.
Also use a good DRY lube. Do not use spray grease.

Did not lube entire arms, just the teeth. Will try lubing entire arms.

Is it a Schwintek? If so, go to their website. They have troubleshooting instructions and lubrication procedures, complete with videos.
