Hot water heater Sabre Silohuette 298RLTS

I notice that on my control panel I have two options for hot water heater:
electric and gas. What is the difference between the two, than the obvious, and running either one do you have to make switch the run on/off switch that is located outside where the pressure relief value is?

Correct one is for gas operation the other is for electric.
You can run one or the other or both @ the same time for faster recovery rate.

To use the electric tho you need to have the switch outside in the "on" position.

And of course make sure wh tank is full of water and "un-bypassed" for summer operation.
You can make sure it's full by opening the pressure relief valve as the tank fills.
