Just joined the Puma world

New member here. Just got a new 23fb. Downsizing from a 1997 34 MH. We are very pleased with it. Trying now to remember all the details they told us on the walkthru. And trying to throw out 20 years of RV junk that we have no room for, or will ever use again!

Got an Equilzer brand hitch with it and I am very pleased with how it tows. No turbulence, compared to the MH, or the horse trailer w/o the WD hitch.

Congratulations on the new unit. Welcome to the Puma family. Interesting that you downsized from a MH, but sure you have a lot of stuff that don't apply to the TT. I am a new Puma owner myself (Jan 2013) but so far we love it.

Our 97 Itasca MH was 90 % wonderful, and 10 % chassis problems which never could get fixed permanently. I need less anxiety in my life, and this cute TT, no slide, seems, I truly hope, to be a nice warm dry problem free unit. Cross my fingers, rabbits foot, and 4 leaf clover.

Congrats toylover? Are there any differences in the 13/14 models that you know of? Did your unit come with the roof ladder? Should be plenty of room for you atv's.

I bought the roof ladder it was an extra cost. There doesn't seem to be much difference in the 2014 but it sure looks nice. The ATVs are too wide to fit side by side so I have to turn the first one 90 deg and slide it to the front to get the second one in. Not too much trouble might try finding something to make it slide easier though.

Not a Puma owner yet. Have a 351 on order though. Hope to have it before Memorial Day weekend.

We rented a 30-fqss for last week as our first TT experience. Terrific trip. Great floor plan for us! Except for leg room around the "can."
We had thought to buy something lighter and shorter, but are now considering buying the 30-fqss because it lives so comfortably.
Does anyone have any cautionary thoughts before we pull the trigger and buy one?
Any suggestions on what we should look out for?
All feedback appreciated!
BTW, towing with a Tundra 5.7.

We have a Puma 27FQ that we bought new in 2007. It has been a great unit.

Just joined the forum, but bought our '09 31BHSS last spring. Loving it so. Plenty of room for the kids in back. Only issue we have so far is the soap holder in the bathroom that I have to keep tightening.

Ok I have to ask, what is the fuse in the plug trick? I have never heard of it but sounds like something I may want to try.

It will light up your lights on camper like it's hooked to truck. Pretty cool

351thss

In love with my 351 but I must admit to a little disappointment due to needing a second trip in for warranty repairs after only six months. First trip for repairs for interior wall detachment and now a second for leaks at the bathroom skylight.
Hope to have it ready for our next trip to the Grand Canyon the first week of June.
Love all the pics of the sweet rigs on this post.

Picked up our 2006 Puma 30DBSS last week! Super excited and a little nervous for the first trip in out very first TT! I spent a lot of time the past few days out in the driveway wishing I was camping.

Welcome to the wonderful world of camping! Lots to learn but plenty of fun along the way. My experience at campgrounds, campers are more than willing to help you. Ask questions. I am sure whatever question you have has been experienced and discussed, especially on this forum! Go out have fun, and share pictures and stories.
