We ordered a Puma 25RS, and yes like others have said. The anticipation is killing me. But it will be a 2014 so that's a plus.

Was out camping this weekend at a local state park, the Puma's were well represented. This was this first time I had seen so many in a camprgound. Glad everyone was out enjoying themselves.

We picked up a Puma 29-FQU a couple months back, we only had it out a couple times, but we really like it so far! A couple questions for anyone who has a similar model though:

1. We can't seem to get the hot water heater fired up... There is water in the hot water tank and the propane is on (stove and fridge work), but when I turn on the switch behind the kitchen sink nothing happens. The igniter on the outside doesn't click and it does not light. The switch on the inside just stays red. The dealer didn't go fully through the water heater system because it was still winterized.

2. The reception on the radio (FM or satellite) seems pretty sketchy. I'm pretty sure the person mentioned something about a 'booster' during the walkthough, but I don't recall exactly what they said.

Here are some pictures of the new beast though:

Does the hot water heater work on electric? And there are two black rubber plug looking things on back of water heater that are breakers. Push those to reset. The booster he mentioned is for three tv antenna.

New to forum

We purchased a slightly used (divorce, only used it 3 times) 2011 Puma 31KBHSS (outside kitchen) last month and have it on a permanent, seasonal spot. We really like the layout and our daughter loves the rear bunks. She has her own space, which as any parent knows, is good for everyone.

We are looking at purchasing some additional jacks for the trailer to get rid of some of the "wobble". Other than figuring out how to turn on the water heater (we didn't know there was an electric switch outside we had to turn on) and having to clear the propane lines because the trailer had been in storage for a year, all has been good.

What's helps with a lot of the wobble is a chock that goes between the tires like what bal makes or make your own out of 4x4 like i did. And a reminder to make sure there is water in heater when electric switch is on or it will burn it the element.

Well I guess we are going to be out of the puma fold in a few days. Our 2013 puma 5er, a 295kbh that we ordered and picked up last July 24th, was in Moore, ok at the dealer getting a couple little things fixed under warranty when all the storms blew thru in may. We were finally told last week that it was a total from all the hail damage it sustained. They estimated it at costing $19+k to repair. Well, we got the check, (after several days of haggling with them) a couple days ago. Now in a few days they will come pick it up.
- its been fun the past almost year, and we have spent 27 nights and a few more days in it while having it.
Dont know if we will replace it or not at this point, going to look at lake houses and then see.
Puma's are great trailers and are a great value, and I hope everybody has a great time with thiers!!!
