How Many Puma owners out there on this forum?

Just thought this thread looked a little lonely. Surely there are more Puma owners out there...Maybe we should communicate? We own a 2008 26rlss, and love it.

Just purchased a new 29RKSS. Love it. Couldn't find a forum anywhere for Palomino Pumas so I thought I would check Forest River. If I am not mistaken, Forest River now owns Palomino. So why are we on the "others" list?
If I can find anything wrong with this unit, it would probably be the caulking quality on the exterior. I see this as a problem with many brands out there. I plan on going around and recaulking the unit here soon using the tape method for clean lines.

I'm glad to hear from others!! We love ours, too. I have noticed, as looking at other places on the web, that the sawdust, metal shavings, etc are a common thing. That was a little bothersome to me, but I'm dealing with it, and can't wait to get out next week on our next camping trip!

Doesn't matter who built the trailer, none of the manufacturers seem to have a shop vac around to get the dust and shavings up.

I agree. All three new trailers I've bought were filled with dust and shavings.
I owned a Palomino MXL RL...and loved it.

PS...had caulking issues with every trailer as well. (even this new shiny 40 footer!)

I just may have to move it now. When I create the non-Forest River section I wasn't aware that FR had purchased Palomino. And since I had owned a Palomino before FR I wanted a section to include them. I just need a good confirmation that FR owns them and I will move the section.

Thanks,

greg

I'm sure. In fact Greg, I am so sure that I will buy you a case of spaten and take you to your favorite steak place if I'm wrong.

New 2007 Forest River Palomino P-280

Hmmmmmmmmmm looks pretty convincing to me. They don't make hard-side pop ups anymore do they?

I'm a lousy gambler so I don't bet. You can still buy me the beer though My favorite steak house is my house. I can't get a steak anywhere as good as I can fix 'em.
