Mattress recommendations?

The mattress that came with my 2018 Solaire is quite possibly the most uncomfortable mattress I've ever slept on (and that includes tent camping with an inflatable mattress that always deflated during the night). I added a 3" memory foam topper that I used in my Roo which was a HUGE improvement. However, my back still complains frequently so I'm considering an upgrade. The bed is queen sized & supposed to be a standard queen rather than the short queen found in many RVs. Any recommendations for an excellent (but affordable) replacement mattress?

Several forum members suggested a Zinus mattress from Amazon and when we followed their advice, we agree. I was extremely skeptical of the bed-in-a-box scenario, but we were so pleased with the switch that when we had to replace our trailer last week, a new Zinus mattress was the first purchase we made!

Good luck finding your sleep solution!

Just go to any mattress store and find that you want. We went with a Serta i Comfort.

Mattress recommendations?

We went to the Original Mattress Factory and tried a number of their models. After finding one we liked they made it to our size as we have an RV King. If you’re sure yours is a regular queen size, go to any mattress store and try them out. We recently bought 2 mattresses from Mattress Firm. I can’t see buying something as important as a mattress without first laying on it.

Whoever sleeps in our guest bed next time, is going to wonder what happened to that comfy mattress that we used to have on that bed. Hope that helps.

We went to a local furniture store and found the mattress we liked best. They delivered and took the old one away.

just hot air..

We swapped out to a queen aerobed with the built in pump. We have a genset so dry camping is not an issue. We dont like a warm mattress like the pillow top sealy that came with the RV. Considered a sleep number like our house has but 150 was a lot better than1500. About thrity nights in so dar. Works for us..

Another for Zinus here.

Loved it so much in our Forester we replaced in sticks and bricks as well with same brand. Sleep better than we had in quite a while with them. Been about a year and they still sleep like they were new.

3rd happy Xinus customer. Bought an 8" short/RV queen for the TT. When I extended our spare bedroom, bought two twin Zinus 12" and the Zinus metal bases for those after our RV experience. They work great. Would have gotten taller for the RV but there was a cost to shipping issue. We put our 2" pad on top of that anyways so that's 10" of memory foam in the TT.
