new updated poll

For those that were confused about the last poll I started last week, here is the new one .

I would like to see the travel trailer and 5th wheel forum that is combined to be separated into two different forums. And I was wondering what the forum thinks .

A newbie has to weed through ALOT of travel trailer threads to find posts on 5th wheels and vi-ca versa .

ITS bad enough all models are combined in to one brand within the brand.

If you would like to see the travel trailer and 5th wheel forum STAY the same vote NO I would like it to stay the same .

And if you would like to see the travel trailers and 5th wheel forum be separated into two forums "ie" 5th wheel forum and travel trailer forum then please vote YES I would like it to change.

If you don't care one way or the other please pick that box .

Thank you !

And by no means this poll has no bearing on if the moderators will change the way it is but maybe by the results they may consider.

Do the 5th wheel people not like the TT people? Are TT people lower class than 5th wheel people? HHHmmmmmmm?

Better Search Parameters?

What I'd like to see is a better way of doing targeted searches (unless I'm not doing it right). There doesn't seem to be a way to do an advanced search on a subgroup of the forum.. For example:

"search the Palomino subforum only";

The more splits you put into a forum, the more difficult things are to find unless you've got your search engine configured to handle it...

The separations do make sense. Self powered (Motorhomes and vans), towed hard sides (5th wheels/TT's) Hybrids (face it, they are their own class however identity challenged they may be ) and the pop up/truck campers.

Well, my friend, maybe I can help

  • Click on the "search button" (in the green bar above. See the picture attached below for reference).
  • Click on "Advanced Search"
You can enter in your keyword and further designate a user and other options such as "search in forum". See the picture below.

Hope that works for you. Its actually quite a good search engine.
