We will be picking up our trailer in the morning, 3 months after we dropped it off.

The dealership ran new lead wires and replaced the converter. According to the service foreman the frig ran flawlessly for 2 days.

I have several calls in to the warrenty rep at the manufacturer to discuss what to do if I have the same problem on my trip in a week. I also want to discuss my warrenty as discribed in the previous post. The rep has not returned my calls or emails and now her voicemail box is full. Frustrating to say the least.

I will post an update if the repair was successful.

Thank you for letting the Forum know about the status of your fridge. If the fridge has been wired properly and the converter was changed, probably do to AC ripple, that would be a Forest River problem not a Norcold one. If the dealer states fridge has worked for a couple of days make sure the RV was plugged into shore power during the testing. Because the AC ripple problem only happens when plugged into shore power. Good luck and enjoy your upcoming trip.

Thanks Doc and to all contributors.

Picked it up today. It was indeed plugged into shore power. The funny thing is that I checked my battery status and they were fully charged. When I attempted to pick it up the last time, they were completely dead. Even after it was plugged into shore power for several days. Frustrating that they stood by their previous decision that there was nothing wrong with the converter.

I will update on the success of the repair when we get home.

Thanks again to everyone listening to my rant about my problem.

Returned yesterday from my trip. The refrigerator worked without problem, on gas (we dry camped with a portable generator but kept the frig on gas).

I hope we are good to go. Anxious to try everything out in shore power.

Thanks to all for your help.
