Odor from sinks 383FB

Palomino Columbus 383FB rotten egg smell coming from faucets at dual sinks in bathroom when running water only, finely goes away after running water for a awhile. any suggestions

Look it up on YouTube, there is a vinegar flush video for the water heater that will solve your problem. Also, get a flush wand for the WH to clean it and replace the aneroid.

Atwood WHs do not have an aneroid, but Suburbans do.

That smell will also generate from the washing machine water lines, especially if you don’t have a washing machine. Flush out both lines which should eliminate the odor.

This is often caused by the AAV (air admittance valve) under the sink needed to be replaced. Cheap and easy. Do a search on the forum for photos.

flushed the hot water heater today hope that takes care of the smell going to do the washing machine lines also, thanks for all the suggestions

me to I didn't get a lot of junk out of it flushed it for about 15 min. the coach is only a about a year old anode rod looked good.

Have you checked the AAV as recommended in post six? To test it cover it with a baggie and a rubber band.

Both hot and cold I have a suburban hot water heater and its just the bathroom sinks only

both sinks in bathroom kitchen is good now if you run the water for about 5 min. it will go away

It's there, on top of the drain line, above the trap. Look up, close to the underside of the counter top.
