Palomino Columbus 329DVC questions

First time owner of a 5th wheel. Purchased a 2020 Columbus 329DVC. So far I am very pleased with the unit.

Two questions:

When it arrived, I had it delivered form out of state, the side of the bottom had falling out some. You could see the insulation. We pushed it back in. It made me notice the bottom sags at least 3-6”. Should I do anything to assist with the sag? Glue, straps, some sort of flashing, etc.?

I ordered an RV Lock Keyless Handle 4.0 then notice the handle on the unit is shaped nothing like the lock I ordered. Does anyone have a suggestion for a replacement handle and lock, or should I not replace it?

Open to any other suggestions regarding this unit.

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. Not sure I know what the side of the bottom is, if you are saying some of the coroplast is sagging or was loose that happens. reattach it and you should be good to go most rigs the underbody coroplast does sag somewhat. I don't have an answer for you door lock other then try the factory supplied system you may find you like that.

Coroplast is exactly what is sagging. Glad to know it is typical and just to push it back up. I am wanting to replace the lock simply because I read there are master keys out there that can unlock it. Safety issue for my family. Maybe it is just propaganda to sell aftermarket handles/locks. Thanks for the feedback.

We just bought the 329dvc. Having a terrible time with the door handle and lock. Are there any tricks? I can not get it to open. Ours is a handle as is yours. Once we bought it dealer claims I am too short to open it without the stairs being down. That can not be. Have you found a keyless lock for your front door?

The bottom does sag a bit, both of mine did my 295 and my 366. As for your lock, remove the one, it is probably the same size square3 hole which will accomodate both locks.

Did you go ahead and change you lock out? We have the same 5th wheel and have had nothing but problems with the lock

Lock.

Ok what is a Bauer NE?

Our trailer locked mei side yesterday husband had a hard time getting it unlocked. The dealer is useless. There has to be an easier option than this door handle.

Been away from the forum for a while but have put plenty of miles on the trailer. I kept the handle after all. My wife cannot reach the handle either when the stairs are up. It can sometimes be a problem. If any finds one that is wireless it would make things easier.

As for the sag, I installed to L brackets from one side to the other and re-sealed with foam. All is good.

Only problem now is the Max-Aire Fan. I replaced the board already with no luck. Going to test for power next. It worked before so I doubt that is the problem.
