Palomino Sabre Water Filter By-Pass

I know many have ask about by-passing the water filter on their RV's so they won't have to waste RV anti-freeze come winterizing time. Many that have tried the round disks that go in the top have experienced leaks.
I had an extra by-pass valve from a old RV antifreeze kit from my old 5th. wheel, I purchased a Camco permanent Water Heater By-Pass kit #3983 which had another quick turn by-pass valve and a nylon crossover hose. Put a lot of Teflon plumbers tape on the threads and install in to each end of the water filter housing. Attach the crossover hose and water supply lines. When I go to winterize I turn both to by-pass, take filter housing out, turn my water heater by-pass valve, pump pink stuff.
