Puma 31rlqs WDH

What wdh are you guys towing your 31rlqs with? We are looking at one and debating between that model and a SOB half ton 5er. I'll be towing with a 2019 F250 gas. Both are well within my trucks capabilities just trying to decide on a nicer floor plan with the the puma or the towing and storage of the 5th wheel. Also have you had any issues towing the 31 RLQS? Thanks in advance!

Just off the top of my head, your trailer is a two-slide and weighs about 7,700 lb. Am I close? You probably have a hitch weight around 1,500 lb., meaning you would need a class V hitch and a WDH rated for 20,000. I could be wrong about this. I am no expert by any means. But I'm sure somebody will have a problem with it and straighten us all out.

Yep! Truck has a class V hitch. We're still debating between the 2 models. Decisions decisions! Luckily we are in no rush to get a new trailer. Only planning 3 or 4 trips this year since one will be a two week trip to Texas in the fall.
