Questions about Columbus

We just purchased a 2016 377mb Columbus. This will be our 5th Trailer. My Family and I are Evangelist, so we Travel all over Preaching Revivals 4 to 5 Nights a Week. Our 1st Trailer was a 1996 Four Winds Pumer pull, 2nd 1998 Coachmen Royal Pumper pull, 3rd 2008 Cedar Creek Fifth Whee, 4th 2015 Montana Mountaineer. I am curious how the Columbus will hold up compared to what we’ve already had. Is it 4 Seasons? How’s the Construction compared to our other Trailer? The Best one so far we’ve had was the Cedar Creek but with 3 Children, that Floor Plan wasn’t working anymore. I’m hoping since the Columbus is a Forest River brand, my Family and I would love it. Thanks for your help.

The Columbus is not in the same class as a Cedar Creek. It’s pretty much hit or miss with a Columbus. Some people have had little or no problems while others have a lemon. Don’t know why there’s such a variance on quality except when they ramp up production, quality suffers. Best of luck with your new Columbus, hope you get one of the good ones.

We have a 2017 320RS we got in April of 2016 and really like it. In 3 seasons we have about 18,000 miles on it. Live in WI and been thru the Rockies twice. Tows great but we do have the bedroom slide crack so many talk about. Appears to be a surface crack only.
