Say hello to our new Solaire 317BHSK!

After many months of searching, we settled on the Solaire 317BHSK after a decade of pop-up camping. We took her out for a short maiden voyage over the weekend and everything went great. Looking forward to many great trips.

Thanks everyone! We just booked a 4 nighter trip in mid-October...beautiful time of year, but means I have to sell me Game 1 and 2 of the St Louis Cardinals NLCS tickets. Ugh...decisions, decisions.

Put the awning out, grab a chair, don't forget a beer from your kitchenette fridge, put a TV outside, and watch the game

I've also just bought a 317 BHSK. I just found out they put in smaller holding tanks than their specs said. They said it had a 76 gallon grey tank but only has a 38. Is yours the same way?

Congratulations. You should have two gray tanks in your camper. One in the front for the kitchen sink and another in the rear that was for the kitchenette and bathroom. Total capacity should be 76.
I believe that the black tank is between them.

Yeah I wish it did have the second tank but it only has one. I asked the dealer about it and they had to ask forest river who said they had changed it! Too bad for me, especially since the large grey was the main reason I picked this model!

That is too bad if true. I would mess around with the drains and checking which sanitation valves results in draining.

I have emailed my sales rep to inquire about the grey water tank. That was a big selling point to us. For them to advertise it as 76 and then only put in half that...

I sure hope this is incorrect. Actually, I'll call Forest River myself.
