Speakers

Does anyone know how to access these speakers and mounting screws? I have one that I need to reposition. I tried getting the grill off as well as snapping off the housing. Can't seem to figure it out and do not want to damage anything. Thanks

The grill itself does not come off. There is a seam around the speaker that snaps apart. It is hard to do but look for the line and that is where it comes apart. Then you will see 4 screws that hold the speaker on. But, the speaker is mounted in a hole in the ceiling. If you want to move it you have to provide some sort of cover plate for the old hole.

Thanks. I messed with that seam but never could make it happen. Now that I know it the way I will apply some additional pressure to snap it loose. The two speakers on one side of my rig are angled completely different. One is straight and the other at a 45 degree angle. I just want to make them match. Think there is any room to rotate a bit? If not I will just leave it alone. No one but me notices it anyway, but I like things symmetrical.

Yes, rotation is OK. You will have to make new screw holes and you may end up with one or two holes uncovered by the speaker after you rotate them but the speaker may still cover them. If not, sure you could fill it in with something.

I had a very hard time getting mine apart and put a few minor scratches in a spot or tow. Some fine sandpaper made it look like new.
