Trailer pin support

New to the 5th wheel way of traveling and wondering how many people support their 5th wheel pin after leveling with one of those tri-pods. I would think the front jacks would be supoort enough ?

The jacks support it just fine. The tripod under the pin is just for stabilization and less movement inside.

Most folks prefer triangulation stabilizers like the JT StrongArms or SteadyFast. I'm partial to SteadyFast:

I have a whole article on getting the shake out:

We have one. Not positive it really helps a lot but can’t hurt having extra side to side help. Left ours on over the winter(Montana) and the trailer settled and drove the legs into the ground and bent the bases[emoji23]. Easy to bend back though.
