Apps for Traveling

What Apps do people use when they are traveling?

if you are scratching your head wondering what an app is... you probably should use your rotary phone to call a friendly teenager (or at least one that is expecting a Christmas present from you).

Allstays is a good one too to locate just about everything RV related
Ihandy level App is good for checking the slope if and free.

MyPilot, RV checklist, Good Sams, RV parky and MY Status GPS free.

If you don't have a wipe and security app or function built in your phone I suggest Cerberus. Invaluable for tracking lost phone, taking a picture of theif, and in last case wiping phone clean via your computer or other phone.

Road Ninja - great for knowing what's coming up at what exits and how far away.

Beat the Traffic - great for seeing when the highway your on turns in to a parking lot....and finding a way around it.

I recently saw a picture of an old, rotary telephone with the caption "I wonder if my parents waited in line all night to get one".
For Android, I have been using "Scout". It's a great app for finding anything fast. For instance, you can type in your favorite grocery store and the results will show the address, directions, map, store hours, and you can even call them. Fuel, restaurants; anything you want.

X2 on RVParky. Great app that finds parks and also links to the park website and phone number. One stop searching.
