WooHoo!!! thanks!!! We had it on our Christmas list, but didn't get it. Totally happy to get it in the Mojave, as it will match the trailer.

DEFINITELY!
If you put all your beverages in cooler cold and fill with ice it'll do it's job!

I'll take that advice on the premise of what I believe TURBS keeps in those coolers are very important items critical to camping success and enjoyment. It's also required by law to keep them cold as well as just bad etiquette to let them get above 36 degrees or so.

One strange footnote is that RTIC recently reduced their impressive 7 year warranty to a mere 30 days. That's quite a dramatic reduction. One reviewer said they inquired as to why the warranty was reduced via email to them but got no response. There are quite a few players in the high end cooler game now with Ozark Trail even getting in the mix so I wonder if competition is leading to these sales and the warranty reduction.....

I'd say thats a safe assumption.

I had noticed the warranty before purchasing, but in addition to TURBS recommendation I paid more attention to the positives of performance and durability in the reviews I read from all over the net. I wasn't looking for a warranty but a decent cooler at a decent price. I did the math. For less than the price of what I paid for my Yeti 65 I have had for a few years, I scored 2 that perform equally well or damn close to it. Add to that Yeti's warranty (as does RTIC) requires you to pay the return shipping. From here in PA to Yeti that would set me back about $90. I'll take the chance, which I believe is minimal.

Just like an RV warranty YMMV.

I also read about the warranty before ordering and agree its not a deal breaker. Only way I could see it helping would be if a handle or something like that broke perhaps they would send one. Just seemed extreme to reduce it to only 30 days.
