May resort to just getting a Cabelas cooler that resembles the RTIC and Yeti. Have enough points to get the 60 qt. Prefer the 65 but they don't carry that size. 80 is the next size.

"You didn't buy more coolers did you"? I can hear it now.
I was ratted out. I had the two 65's shipped (delivered yesterday) to my brother in laws house. He just so happened to call his sister last night to tell her. Thanks a lot. I just received the anticipated ripping from her at 3:30 AM and have not even laid my mitts on them yet. I had to come clean on the 45 being delivered Monday. Has anyone ever been divorced over coolers? LOL.

I hadn't heard anything about this but evidently there was a lawsuit between them and YETI. According to this post from their FB page they agreed to redesign some products. No clue what but that may also be fueling the sale.

Still a great deal on a great product!

Hmmm. So, we got the last of the "old versions"??? That's fine with me.

Mr. Havercamp, that's ridiculous. I just told my wife I NEEDED these three coolers! I told her that if she could order shoes like she had 50 feet, I could order 3 coolers that I didn't need.

and two of the little sandwich thingies.

And they have been delivered. And I'm not going back to that site no matter what, ever again.

I did enroll in an online Self-Control class..........trying to figure out how to make the wife pay for it.

Well in her defense........20 years ago I was the one who would come home from work with a new truck unannounced and to this day I can not pass certain places that carry items beginning with a "G" that I can't mention and am unable to leave without dropping at least a few hundred. Add to that sometimes the brown truck arrives with Fender guitars and amps and I have never been able to figure out who sends the stuff.

Man I love that woman............self control??????????? Please define!

Better get em while you can after that news. Something had to be in the wind with the sale and the warranty reduction, I guess the new ones will look nothing like a Yeti.

Interesting.

Even though I respect Yeti for protecting their apparent patent rights or whatever, own a Yeti, and have talked them up in the past I am done and will never again buy another grossly overpriced Yeti product. See ya Yeti.

RTIC I assume will just alter the design so it looks a little different and then continue to "kick the crap out of Yeti's prices" as so eloquently said earlier by TURBS.

Wonder why they are not mentioning Cabelas, Polaris, and I believe there is another one or 2 that closely resemble the Yeti.

If RTIC has to "redesign" some of their products, then that sounds to me like they were infringing on YETI's design and decided to settle out of court because it was cheaper than having some jury hand them a large verdict. Only "win" I see is not having to pay to go to court and not having to pay out the big bucks.

But who knows; I'm sure there's a gag order on the settlement.

Whether they were infringing or not these things typically settle. Both parties realize eventually the only thing coming out of it is the attorney's are making the money. I searched around and Yeti calls it a win......So does RTIC. I call it a win because I have 2 65's and a 45 on the way for less than I paid for my Yeti Tundra 65.

And there is a typical gag order. Another thing I read today was Yeti sued Walmart over their Ozark Trail brand of insulated cups LOL.
