Post RV Travel Blog?

Do you journal regularly on your own RV travel blog? If so, I'd love if you'd post your website URL so I could check it out.

I just bought my first RV and decided I will start one for myself. You can do it for free if you don't already through Wordpress.com. It's pretty easy to learn. Since I'm a profession interwebs designer, it's comes natural for me.

I'll post mine once I get started. Mine will include everything you can imagine from becoming a first-time RV'er through the growing pains and discoveries and will progress as I become seasoned.

I have a wonderful friend younger than me (I'm in my mid-40's) who opted to sell their (she and her husband) home and work remotely while traveling on the road in their relatively new 5th Wheel trailer. She also maintains a very nice RV blog. Check it out and tell her "Don" sent ya... www.ardentcamper.com.

I run 2 blogs. One isn't a personal blog, but more geared towards people learning to RV:

Learn To RV

The second one is about our upcoming trip:

Now Or Never - a RV Tale

Thanks! I subscribed to it and will catch up on some reading. It's especially good for me as we just bought our first RV yesterday!

Great blog, thanks for sharing. I have a blog (signature) and photo gallery that I keep. We just purchased our motorhome last week and I plan to update both with our travels.

Safe travels and I look forward to reading your blog.

Hi Don,
We've been blogging all of the places we've been since the truck camper in 2010. We're now traveling in a 2012 Wildcat 5th. Enjoy!

Ahh, dang Tapatalk app doesn't show signatures (which sucks!). Thanks.

I'll definitely check it out.

Hey Don,
Yep, it's definitely a redirect to wordpress. One of these days I need to get it moved over to my own domain name. Is that link not working for you, or is your browser just insistent about a potential security issue?
If the redirect's not working, the direct link is smallhomebigyard.wordpress.com.
Have fun!

Must've been a glitch this morning. Works fine for me now. Thanks.

Enjoyed going through your posts. Been to all of those Texas locations though not necessarily camp grounds, being a native Texan. Interesting reading about Wheatland. My old friend in Colorado was a basketball star from there. Never knew anything about the place until I met him. This is only the second time I heard anything about the place!

I finally started my blog. It only has one entry, but that's one more than was there last week! www.americanbluestreak.com. Hope to have hundreds of entries in the next year or two!

Save spot with Class B or C

How do you notify people that you must leave your camping spot for the day, but will be back with a Class B or Class C ? No fun in arriving and finding someone on your site. This would be mainly for Canada or US sites.

Welcome,

We just made up a sign on the computer and had it laminated by Staples. Says "This site taken we will be returning in a bit, thanks"

Use a sharpie to put the date we will be there on it so they know it was recent.
