TX. Sales tax holiday for emergency supplies
For Texas members, April 24-26 there is a holiday from sales tax on certain emergency supplies. I'll attach the link with details below. I'm putting this here, because one of the items listed is generators up to $3000. That could add up to a pretty good chunk of cash if you're considering some of the more costly brands like Honda. It does say on line sales are included, but I don't know how you'd work that out with the seller if they are out of state and unaware of this break. A little caution if you choose something close to the $3K ( or whatever price max, depending on category ). SHIPPING cost is considered part of the sales price. So if you buy a $2999 generator and shipping is $50, it's over the $3K and NONE of it is exempt from tax.
Myself, gonna pick up a few new fire extinguishers for the house & the RV.
