Warranty Work and Compensation
I brought my trailer in to finally get warranty workbdone after a total of 6 months waiting time (no fault of my own) and was told it could take a day or 4 days give or take and so we got a hotel for 3 nights and called the rv place doing the work and they said it would be another 4 days because a truck broke down in transit with a needed piece that should have already been at the shop. Is there any compensation of funds for having to be out a total week of our trailer under any warranty work info. that I might not be aware of?

You have to order the parts for them to be at the dealership

I believe the dealer has to order the parts for warranty work.

It is unlikely especially after the fact. I would not stay there and wait as it is likely to slip again. Most RV dealers need much more time that they quote and for some reason getting parts shipped to the dealers is 15 yrs behind the times.

I would say no compensation. It is not the dealer or Forest Rivers issue that you stayed in a motel. Forest River recommends that you buy from a local dealer.

Good Sam sells Extended Warranty plans for RVs that covers your lodging fees under conditions like yourself. Of Course, with a new RV you wouldn't think you would need it.

Now, I especially like the part that the truck broke down and that meant adding four more days to your fix. Think about it, assume it was shipped by common carrier, and that their service took four days to transfer the load to another truck and send it on its way. You might be dealing with a distant relativeof the person who sold the Brooklyn bridge a while back, to several people I think!
No recourse.

I find this Very confusing, you are listed as living in Tenn.bought the RV in Fla.and now looking for repair in AZ. You state you have waited 6 months to get Warranty work done, where did this Warranty Journey start? Youroo! !
