#1 son and I were in our local Toysus awhile ago. While he was looking for his stuff, I wandered over to the Lego section. I spotted a Class B van for anyone wanting to add to their collection.

I picked this up, and we may put it together later.

A little off-topic but it makes me sad that this was posted just a little under 2 years ago. I miss Toys-R-Us.

We didn't shop there all that often, and the one that was by us wasn't even in the same building as it was originally when I went there all the time as a kid. But it was still fun walking through the aisles and reminiscing.

Funny how a lot of the toys out even then were still the same (in name at least) as the toys I remember. GI Joe, Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Legos, Barbies and tons of different video games.

Just some more Lego trivia.

What country buys the most Legos?

Hint 1, it's not the United States

Hint 2: Lego is actually the #1 toy company in this country.

Hint 3: This country's population is about 1/4 the size of the U.S.

LOL. It's even worse for me. Awhile back I purchased the Old Fishing Store and actually put it together during Christmas. It's still sitting on the kitchen table.

Well, they would make a light kit for it too.....Dagnabit.

[QUOTE=wmtire;2252617]Dang Google, and their suggestions. They pointed me to something and I have a feeling I am about to spend more money on. It's a company that makes model specific LED light kits for a bunch of these Lego kits.
Do they take 30 amp or 50 amp connections? I have 30 amps in my backyard but could easily convert to 50 if needed.

Great idea and nice looking kits, but they reversed the port and starboard lights on the boat. Red should be on port (left), green on starboard (right).

Oh boy. I have a whole town in the basement that I gave to my kid saved from my childhood...its 12x8ft. I ran christmas lights upnfrom the bottom as a kid to light up some ofbthe buildings. I hope they don't have light kits for all those. I remodeled the TT one and took it to work to play.

My son and I were in our local Target this weekend and I passed by the toy section. I was kind of grinning when I passed by an end cap where a mother was talking to her young son, who was looking at a lego set. She was telling him he was lucky she was going to get him the $35 set but wasn't spending $60.

Their conversation got my attention to kind of look to see what he was getting, when I spotted this as I looked. I sure didn't get off for 35 or even 60. Curses to them and to Target, for causing me to spend more money to add to my RV collection.

What was worse than that, is my son walks up with some rock band shirts that I couldn't deny buying him now once he saw Dad's toy in the buggy...so I got double whammied.
