A strange visitor came to the door

I'm lucky enough to have the room to keep our RV on our property. So this guy comes to our front door. When I answer the door, he asks if he can buy our trailer. A little surprised, I tell him "no" we like it and plan to keep it. But he keeps pushing. Had to tell him "no" several times before he'd believe I meant it.

Caught me completely off guard. Anybody else?

Well not yet. Tell him 2x the price u paid for it, if he says ok to that price. Something is up. Could be a crime waiting to happen. But does sound very strange. Especially with RV Trader, FB Market place. ect....

I was out front unloading our trailer as a young couple was driving by. She rolled down her window and asked if I wanted to sell our trailer. Sold it to her on the spot. Picked up my new trailer the following weekend

I have had many people ask if our trailer is for sale. It is parked in our driveway and we have a corner lot with one road being a larger artery. Most people ask and when I say no they move on. Did have one I found circling the trailer when I went outside. He said he wanted it and offered to buy on the spot. He pulled out a cashiers check for about half of what the trailer would cost. So I told him I would sell it for an amount that was about 1 1/2 times the normal price. He said he would be back with the rest of the money in cash. Still waiting for him to return (been about a year now)

We had a guy come up during church hours about a year ago. My wife called the police since I was at work. He showed her a Facebook ad saying it was our trailer for sale. He offered her about 10% of what we paid for it. The policeman told him to leave. We havenít heard from him since.

A good time to ask them about Buddism. That usually runs everyone off.

If someone showed up and offered to by my 5th wheel, $60K, it's yours, bank transfers to Escrow only, you pay escrow. Once it clears, it is all yours.
