Anybody like -- REALLY like -- model trains?
I was going through some old e-mails to clean out my mailboxes, and came across the following video that Brian Fewkes sent me quite a while back. This layout is astounding!

Someone on RV.net had this setup where they built a custom top for their dinette and are building a train layout in there:

All I can say is wow............
I assume its still there but in Strasburg PA the Choo Choo Barn had or has a large O gauge layout with lots of vehicle & people movement & they changed something every year. It took about an hour to walk around it to see everything. Not nearly as big or detailed as the layout in the video though......

That layout is awesome. I wonder how much money and time was spent to build it? I too would love to see that in person.
There is a million dollar O gauge layout at the Railroad Museum in Foley, AL. Volunteers operate the layout on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10AM to 2PM and admission is free. The train layout was donated to the City of Foley. While the layout isn’t nearly as good as the one in the video, the layout in Foley is well worth a visit for anyone visiting the Gulf Shores, Alabama area. Did I mention the admission is free?

Oakman, I don't recall a total dollar figure, but I recall a time figure of 500,000 hours, the equivalent of 25 people working full time for 10 years. I think they also might have mentioned the equivalent of $1 million to add the airport.

That certainly would qualify as a Bucket List to do item.
For those miniature RR fans who live in the Dallas area and visitors also, the Northpark Mall in North Dallas sponsors a miniature RR set up for the local Ronald McDonald House. It starts every Thanksgiving and runs to the end of the year. There is a charge and while it doesn't come close to what the You Tube shows,it is prettry awesome.
