biggest pet peeve while camping.

Not really off topic but I couldn't find an appropriate section to place it.

So what is you biggest pet peeve while camping?

Mine is obsessively barking dogs that bark from the moment they pull in till the minute they leave.

Not going camping enough.

It takes a lot to bother me once I'm in relax mode...

Loud music that I don't like. Loud music I do like is okay. LOL
Or, left over from our old site on a canal that led to the lake.....
a sump pump in the canal that someone made a fountain out of with pvc pipe...sounded like a toilet incessantly flushing....I mean incessantly.
He even put a pool light underwater to light it up.....Can someone say....RN fountain?

Two things right off-

1. The outrageous prices some CG's owners charge for the often stale and outdated food products sold in their stores.

2. When some campers ( I suspect a group of friends camping together) gather 3-4 picnic tables, put them all together and then leave the CG without returning them to their respective sites.

People walking through your camp area to get to theirs or somewhere else. Walk around!

It absolutely drives me crazy when people on a near by campsite smoke cannabis. The smell and smoke just linger and I don't want my children exposed to that. I usually go over to the perpetrators site and have a nice chat with them that usually ends one of two ways. They agree to stop doing it at the campsite, or they mouth off to me and I have to show them my tin. Either way the pot smoke stops lol.

1. CG's that advertise they have certain amenities, only to arrive and whaddya know - they don't have 'em!
2. Pets off leash
3. People who are smoking upwind of us
4. Loud music - regardless of time
5. Not camping as much as we'd like! That should be number one, huh?

I would rather deal with pot smokers than loud drunks
