Candy!

OK. Got your attention!

Here's a link to candy.com's ratings of Halloween candy.

https://www.candystore.com/blog/holi...oween-candies/

Give me your opinion. What's your favorite, what's your least favorite.

I agree with the top choice.

Happy trick or treating, ya'll!

Reminiscing with a friend yesterday. I miss a LOT of the things that went with my Mother making popcorn balls and handing them out. That they are verbotten now says much.

Yep, things are different today.

We had an older neighbor lady (lived in an 1800's log home) who made and handed out home made donuts on Halloween. Another place made us gobs. (sometimes called whoopie pies in other parts of the country)

While the candy on that list is good, it can't compare to the smell/taste of fresh made goodies after walking into an old, authentic log home as a lad with the same sheet thrown over my head, year after year.

Yep Reese's Peanut Butter cups are my favorite too. I like Butterfingers as a second choice though. For the worst I don't like anything that is or has licorice in it, even Twizzlers. Circus Peanuts and candy corn do suck though.

It does taste like cough medicine but my grandmother kept it in a jar at her house and it was the only candy she kept so we ate it. Remember the taste like it was yesterday and haven’t had it in 40 years. I’ll take a frozen Milky Way over any other candy in earth.

We had 3 boxes (36 each) of full size bars of Reese's cups, Hershey's milk chocolate (bought for peanut allergy kids), and Kit Kats.

We were disappointed as we only had 18 kids total.

9 - Hershey's chocolate
5 - Reese's Cups
4 - Kit Kat Bars

More for me!

Candy!

We had 850 kids yesterday. It was raining. Last time it didn’t rain on Halloween we had over 1400 kids. We gave out dum dum suckers.

We did a trunk or treat about a week ago that was to help out our daughter's HS bowling team. We had probably 600 kids.
