Unless someone was there to witness the whole thing either side has a story that could be completely different. IMO any driver pulling an RV, or any trailer with extra weight for that matter, should have more patients then everyone on the road. I'll admit it does stink when your trying to keep your momentum to get up a hill and someone is blocking your attempt. One has to think of the loved one(s) that is sitting right next them that depend on you to get them home safely. Sorry, I really can't stand people that don't give themselves enough time to get to where there going, then take it out on everyone else on the road. Okay I'll get off my soapbox now.

As the story said, "Witnesses told police the pickup was seen nearly running the sedan off of the road in the construction zone prior to the collision.". So there were witnesses, that is usually a busy stretch of road.

Wow....aggression by someone pulling a TT. Not something you see or experience every day. Thankfully there weren't any serious injuries. If this were my husband, he'd have needed an amublance....well after the crash.

Ya, I read that, what I meant was the WHOLE thing. What we don't know is did the sedan provoke something? Either way the RV'er should never have lost his cool with a load, very irresponsible.

Of course 2 sides to every story. What was perceived by on-lookers may be totally opposite of what happened. Maybe the sedan was trying to run up the right side of the trailer to illegally pass and ran out of room so it appeared he was ran off the road. We may never know. There are many circumstances to point blame.

Sad day indeed. None of that HAD to happen.

We've all been there... Cars that won't let us keep the momentum, driver's that won't let us merge in even after the blinker has been on the last 1/4 mile. I've been meaning to get a sticker to put on the front of my trailer that I can read when I look in my mirror. "Relax, you're having fun"

Sorry this half ton won't drag this trailer over the mountain any faster, and I'm sorry you've been tailgating me so closely I can't see you in my mirrors.

Not a hugh a lot of information to go on and we don't know what was edited out before print. However, good points were made in the replies in this thread.
