Cell based internet

Hey all I could use some help. My good neighbor has a cabin in the middle of nowhere Montana. Currently he uses HughesNet for internet but it is pricey and not very reliable so we were thinking about going to a cell based system using a wireless router in the cabin and a directional antenna on the roof to boost the cell signal. They can get a Verizon cell signal on their driveway (2 bars) but nothing inside. They would use this system for internet access and streaming but most important would be remote access to their security cameras while they are not at the cabin.
Any help with equipment and a data provider that utilizes Verizon towers would be appreciated.
