I have only seen 1 person on this forum (milcop4523) claim that they modded their Ecoboost. This thread was started by a Goverment Motors owner.
Doesnt make the product worse ..... thats just pennie pushers not pushing pennies in the right direction .
Just cant figure out why someone would have you take your cab off your truck to change head gaskets ? THAT makes the product worse

Uncle Sam has more to say about this than Ford or any other manufacture does with the clean air bills.

So you're still calling this convenience and not performance? This forum needs a BS flag

If you had a 5er, you would understand. Would probably even help on your tongue trailer.

Not so much on gasser exhaust, as long as you've got the cat in place.
Diesel exhaust with the CAT, DOC, and DPF, now that's a whole different story.

I've got a 5er and don't have any real bouncing issues. But, then again, I drive a Ford!
Seriously, though, does not having shocks on the trailer cause the chucking issues?

Don't know what causes the chucking, but the shocks sure stopped it.

You missed the point. You're saying you added shocks to your RV to make your truck more convenient.
From Wikipedia:
Convenience is a term used to describe procedures, products and services that are intended to increase ease in accessibility, save resources (such as time, effort [1] and energy) and decrease frustration.
I really think you installed shocks to increase the ability of your RV suspension to perform better while towing.

To be perfectly honest, I was perfectly satisfied with how the trailer rode. I was trying to stop or lessen the chucking in the truck which was FRUSTRATING. If that implies the trailer suspension was not performing, so be it, the shocks corrected it. Would do it again in a heartbeat, it's that much of an improvement to whatever part of the truck/trailer unit you want to point to.

Agreed, but pointing out that he modded his trailer to make up for his TV's shortcomings is much more fun!
