I was a HUGE fan of Combat!. I even had an official Combat! toy military set, with Saunder's Thompson machine gun that fired a roll of caps in the magazine. It also came with helmet, Colt 1911 w/holster, belt with canteen and grenade.
Still watch it on H&I.

I did too. It was a P40 Warhawk that you flew in a circle. It had a bomb underneath that you could drop.

That's right. I went to go see Big Time Wrestling once at a Parma station in the late 60s early 70s. Somehow I seem to remember it being at either State and Sprague or State and Pleasant Valley. My Aunt and my Grandparents had houses on State Rd in Parma.
I lived in suburbs of Cleveland and Akron till 78. Oh, the memories.

And later on, the 2nd Dragnet series.
I'm surprised my Mother let us watch Combat. We weren't allowed to watch The Three Stooges, supposedly because we poked at each other enough. We were a family of 5 boys, and fought with each other constantly. We probably created a scene everywhere we went.

I was watching an episode of COMBAT! one day when one of my granddaughters was at our house. She asked me what I was watching and I explained the show to her. That Christmas her and her sisters gave me the entire series on DVD as a present. Priceless!

Portland Wrestling!
Launch pad for favorites like Roddy Piper, Rick Martel, "Playboy" Buddy Rose, Jimmy Snuka, Jesse Ventura, Dutch Savage, and many others.
My cousins and I would fall asleep watching it in the living room on Saturday nights, only to be woken up by Tom Peterson pounding on the other side of our TV screen and yelling about his "Wake Up Sale!!!!"

I’m back to into the RC as well, I used to race the stadium trucks, now I’ve been racing boats, with glow, gas, and electric power.

I had a pretty massive collection of the 3 3/4" GI Joe action figures and vehicles when I was a kid. I ended up selling them all on Ebay somewhere around 2001 or so and made enough money to take my family on vacation.
I still have my collection of He-Man figures in a few large boxes.

Anyone still have their Matchbox cars??? I still have all of mine plus the suitcase style carrier, really wish I had kept the boxes as well but who knew, kind of like Lionel trains the boxes are worth a lot of money as well as the trains.

Could never figure out why Littlejohn (Dick Peabody) wasn't the B.A.R. guy. Not knowing the model used in the show he would have been appropriate to carry around that 16# (20 rnd mag) to 24# (40 rnd mag) monster. Though the 24 pounder was usually used for AA.

Definitely. Never got smart enough to keep a rag handy to keep from getting burned.
I was always getting burned by something back in the day. Flash bulbs, welding splatter, camping lanterns and for good measure two ex wives[emoji16]

Kirby's model appears to be the M1918A2 with forward mounted bipod. In Season 1, Kirby appears in one episode with a Garand, and in another with an M1 Carbine. ??? Interestingly enough, if you have $5K you can put your name on a list to have a M1918A3-SLR built by Ohio Ordnance. Only difference is it's semi-automatic and fires from the closed-bolt position. Comes with all the accessories.
