I loved watching Johnny Quest. I had no idea that the show that you mentioned ever existed.

I just googled it, and checked out some info. It sounds like something that I will check out!

Thank you.

It's very tongue in cheek and at times, pretty outrageous.
The first few seasons are more "Johnny Quest", than the later seasons.

You might want to be careful using anything margaritaville, though Jimmy Buffet is a good musician he is sue happy. He once had a cease and dicest order issued to a big fan who had a website named Margaritaville. The fan posted all kinds of photos he had of himself with Mr. Buffet along with lyrics to his songs. There were no actual recordings of his songs. About a year after the cease and dicest order Jimmy Buffet open his Margaritaville website so rumor has it that the guy had registered margaritaville.com and Mr. Buffet wanted it for himself. Margaritaville is copyrighted and cannot be used without compensation going to Jimmy Buffet.

... and Superman never punched anyone. Instead he would grab them an fling them into unconsciousness, or grab two of them and bang their heads together.

Ok I’ve seen a few old cartoons mentioned.....

Any of you old folks remember Beanie and Cecil?

Cecil the seasick sea serpent [emoji3]

Found a video in the 80s and watched it with the kids. Was quite a lot in there for adults actually.

Yep, like Rocky and Bullwinkle, there was a lot of adult oriented material, especially from Uncle Captain and Dishonest John.
I still can do a pretty good Cecil voice that I do for the grandkids.

A current running cartoon that has some adult humor built in is Sponge Bob.

We were watching a Fred Astaire movie, "The Gay Divorcee" and one of the supporting stars was Edward Everette Horton; the voice of Fractured Fairytales on the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

Funny you mention those. I was in cracker barrel a few years back and they had the fractured fairy tales on DVD. I just had to buy it and rewatch them.

May have to again now that I'm thinking about them.
