Double Lightning Strike

Too good not to share this....Standing on my porch last night as one hell of a lightning storm moved in. I never have seen the sky lit up like it was. Started snapping pictures. Just so happened to catch this. Didn't realize it was two bolts until after I reviewed the pictures.

Great pics. You can only take a picture like that once in a lifetime if at all.

I agree, great pic. IMHO both the weather channel and your local stations should see that pic.

By hand, yes... But with a lightning you can take 40 a night. But still a fantastic photo. Great composition, and the lighting was spot on.

But Ryan wasn't kidding. I'm about 30 miles south of him and I had the most incredible lightning storm I have ever seen. The weather radio woke me up around 11:30 for a tornado warning, and I thought there was 20 cop cars and ambulances outside from all the flashes.

For a solid half an hour, there was not 2 continuous seconds without multiple lightning flashes. I was waiting for the alien mother-ship to appear through the clouds.
