We're heading down the middle of February. San Diego area for 2 weeks on the beaches, then to Arizona for the first time, then to Palm Springs, then to Inland Empire.
After that we'll take a week to get home. 7 weeks total.

Looks like you are dropping into the mid 40's, brrrr. Over here in Palm Springs it only going to dip into the upper 50's.

Being an Arizona native. I agree California is the place to go. Have fun. Great weather there. They need the money. Nothing to see or do here in AZ except cactus and dirt.

They won't let me in. Which suits me. BUT......I AM going further south(east) next year.

AND............I have "people claustrophobia". Gotta have space. No California, no "Northeast".

Best move I've made, OUT of California. There is good weather in other places.
But if you do go there bring your checkbook (because even as a visitor you pay the outrageous taxes) and bring your Spanish/English dictionary. In some parts you will think you are in another country. And if the governor has his way,
you soon will be.
And get ready to get in line. Everything in CA has a line. Freeways, ski lifts,Disneyland, movie theater. You name it, get in line.

You forgot about the 2 longest lines...

1) The welfare line.
2) The DMV line

According to our local forecast, we won't see 40 for another 2 weeks.

It's supposed to get up to 15 today. Woo-hoo!
