I used to have a 55+ Oceanic with Cichlids in it. They are fun fish.

What kind of substrate is that?? Granite?

Not Limestone. High concentration of Iron, Manganese, Aluminum. Cobalt. Don't have my Analysis sheet nearby but contains about 30 different elements. Nothing stands out so far, but just got around to getting another sample to send to a University for further testing.

Analysis sheet was closer than I thought.

Method EPA 3050 for Digestion and 6010 for Analysis

Results are in mg/kg:

Iron: 7600
Aluminum: 3170
Manganese: 433
Cobalt: 73.8
Barium: 69
Gallium: 50
Copper: 13.2
Zinc: 13
Nickel: 8.2
Indium: 7.3
Strontium: 6.5
Lithium: 6.4
Lead: 3.9

That's why rocks are heavy...they're just full of stuff.

Will be quite interesting to hear what they decide that rock is or where it's from.

If you do find out it's worth millions just remember I'm the one who reminded you about the perils of your ship coming in. I may have saved your life.

You owe me.

Did you ever get an answer on what, exactly, this rock is?
