Fulltimers

we are going full time sometime after the first of the year, we are looking at SD. for a domicile state, and buying some land there and some land somewhere on the west coast, I have read where people are looking for mail info, of coarse the is Escapss's option, and also the is http://www.americas-mailbox.com/home/advantages:: has anyone else have any other info, I know as always there is looking through every post for info, which is time consuming and lengthy, just wanting extra info on full timing subjects,,

We’ve been fulltime for 3 1/2 years now. We switched our residency to Florida for a variety of reasons. It took a visit to the state and we went to the DMV location closest to the mail service to fill everything out. It was a small town and they were used to helping fulltimers get everything filled out appropriately. Our plan worked perfectly.

Other than that, we switched as many things to electronic statements and changed our address with as many places as we could thing. I kept a running list.

Bank of America flagged the mail service as a commercial address or something and didn’t let us use it as our “address on file”. For them, I had to use my in-law’s home address and then made the mailing service be my “mailing address”. Nothing gets sent to the in-laws.

In Texas you don't have to go back every year for inspection. Renew online and there is a place to enter that you will be out of state and they will allow you to renew and you have three days to get it inspected when you get back to Texas.

In our 3 years, we haven’t had inspections.
