I am into scale (really scale) 1/10 RC 4x4 trucks and love to take them with when we camp. Jeeps, Bronco, pickups etc. Really fun to run around in the sand at Lake Michigan. Great scale picture opportunities too - one of my other hobbies.
Here's a pic of one of my creations that is a real hit when I drive it around the campground. The trailer is scratch built and 34" long.

Fully finished interior too

It's not knitting and such, but still fun
That's awesome...talk of the campground every time you set it loose I'm sure!

I run, alot, Marathon and Ultra distances (over 26.2 miles). And I blog about it: Brian's Running Adventures

Hobbies in the past, RC Airplanes (10+ years), and Muscle Cars.

And now camping! Much more relaxing...

Besides camping, I dabble in model rocketry and building custom computers. Just made a water-cooled PC that took six months to build. It's a great feeling when you finish, hit the power button and nothing explodes!

Boating, and more boating. Being down here on the SE coast, we usually have the boat in the water on the weekends from April til Sept. Once that is over, it's shrimp season down here for 2 months. During the "season" you can leagally bait shrimp and keep a 48quart cooler per night. Into turkey calling, golf, am an active participant in the local Masonic lodge, and the DW and I Shag dance (Beach Dance the offical State Dance of SC) locally and travel to different events (parties) up and down the coast. Now that we are officially "RV'ers" we will be doing quite a bit of tailgating at SEC College football games in the fall, as well as attending Shag events and camping as much as we can.

Nice. My IL's live outside of Charleston. I'm a Midwesterner, so not really my kind of place, but it's pretty.

I prefer swing, salsa, and merengue.

Perfect.

My younger Aussie (he turns 3 Saturday) LOVES to kayak. He just loves it, and when we are loading them up he'll sit on one, ready to go. LOL.

Last summer, when Debby flooded our street, he was beyond thrilled when we took the kayaks to the streets.

Here you can sort of see him sitting in front of my husband on the yellow kayak, and my other dog standing on the side of the road.

Oh, and oh, yeah, I used to do quite a bit of agility with my dogs, but now just frisbee when I can.

My wife will say that I go through hobbies like I do underwear

Really, I've only kept up with three.

1. BBQ - We cook KCBS Sanctioned BBQ competitions around the midwest as our empty-nester hobby. In fact, the only reason we have the toy hauler is so we have some comfort at competitions. We haven't used it for camping yet

2. Coffee - I am a home roaster and trained barista. While I don't bring a roaster with me on trips I always have fresh roasted coffee and we share it with our friends and neighbors at the BBQ competitions.

3. Fishing - Although I don't get to go as often as I would like due to our BBQ competition schedule.

My Hobbies are when I am at home, its building plastic models (mostly cars or whatever peaks my interest), BBQing and the wife likes quilting, knitting and sewing when she has time. While outdoors, its fishing, sight seeing, and if I have actual winters, it'll be hockey, skiing, snowmobiling and any other winter sport, since I lived most of my life in Alberta. While my wife likes nature trail walks, scenic places and reading. But for the both of us its camping, traveling and visiting family and friends with our trailer. As we both want to share and involve our 10 yr in our interests and hopefully spur on his.
