This is a setup I like to drive around the RV parks we frequent. Quite a hit [emoji16]

Geocaching, bike riding, hunting.

RVing is great for a geo-cacher. I've found that going after these has led me to a number of interesting spots that I would never have even thought to look for. Golfers - I've been to Bobby Jone's grave site - interesting that lots of golf balls are dropped there. The wedding site of tHe James Brothers parents. Basketball and Kentucky fans, Adolph Rupp's grave site. Add to that list, many interesting natural geographic sites, lots of great scenery, etc. With millions of caches hidden world wide, I can always find something interesting wherever we are.

Another guitar guy here. I don’t consider myself a competent player but I enjoy it.

I also tried my hand at homebrewing but I haven’t attempted anything in a year or so.

While I'm no longer doing it, I spent many years officiating amateur sports in St. Louis -- HS, college, and Legion baseball, HS football, basketball, softball.

The highlight was getting connected with Randy Hundley, retired Cubs catcher, and umpiring his fantasy camps in St. Louis for about 12 years. I got to hang out with and umpire games with former major leaguers whom I'd watched and admired from the stands. Calling balls and strikes for Hall of Famers Bob Gibson and Ferguson Jenkins, watching Lou Brock single, then immediately steal second, hearing tall tales from Curt Flood and so many others still stay with me all these years later.

(Hint: It was not a good idea to try to bunt against Bob Gibson. One camper did, and the ball rolled foul. On his way back to the mound, Gibson said, "I bet you won't try that s--- again." The next pitch was about a 90 mph curve thrown directly at the batter's shoulder with smoke coming off of the seams. It broke to be a strike on the outside corner, just above where his knees would have been if he weren't flat on his back in the batter's box. No one else tried to bunt the rest of the day.)

Ron Hundley and the late Curt Flood, by the way, are a couple of the classiest gentlemen I've ever met.

Cindy and I also spent a lot of hears as crew members for a friend who's a hot air balloon pilot.

Homebrewing. It's made in 5 gallon batches so I can make it a lot faster than I can drink it. And the whole process got a lot easier when I started kegging instead of bottling. I do IPAs only.

Nice, what power are you using? I have two vee bottoms, a 4s boat we race in a spec class that’s a lot of fun and a monster 10s boat I built to complete with nitro and gas boats in the open class. It’s a crazy motor rated at something like 7hp and the torque is insane.

Nice! I have a hybrid motor that i just built, zenoah bottom end with an RCMK s254 evo crank and top end, with the porting i did on the lower case it should be good for about 5.5hp, the stock rcmk evo is about 5.2hp...

I also have a smaller (26") volantex vector 70 brushless boat that i have a 4k 3660 motor in that i run on 2s.

Pretty darn good at the first 3, long way to go on the last, but really enjoy it. Planning several trips this year up into UT, CO, WY, and MT to stalk brown trout...

My hobbies tend to come and go. I was a raptor rehabilitator in the 1990s. I’ve been interested in astronomy for a million years but don’t try to do any astrophotography. I don’t have the equipment or the patience. My wife and I sailed for about 15 years and then got fed up with boat maintenance. Now we’re camping and enjoying it. I’m also incredibly into the history of space exploration. (A moon-walking Apollo astronaut accepted my invitation to speak to our church and spend the night in our home. I could talk for hours about that. Oh wait, I still do.)Click image for larger version

Oh where should I start? Cars, I am currently stuffing a ford 302 into a 67 sunbeam alpine. Mechanical watches, I am an amature watch maker and have made a number of custom watches. Astronony, I have had a string of telescopes since I was a kid and currently have a Celestron Nexstar 8i. Hunting, fishing and camping of course.

I'm an amateur radio (ham radio) operator, VE5DLC, as is my wife Carla, VE5YAK, and our oldest son Mitchell (he's 18 now) VA5KMG. We operate at our home station of course, but we also take a radio to the parks for portable operation.

I am also very heavily involved with the Royal Canadian Air Cadet squadron in a nearby city, currently as Assistant Training Officer. The cadet program is for youth 12-19. Along with air cadets, there are also sea and army cadet units all over Canada. My three sons are involved, two as air cadets, and one as a sea cadet with another unit. For this activity I am actually enrolled in the Canadian Forces, though only as a cadet instructor.

RC Scale model Aircraft, especially the building part. Finishing up a .60 size Corsair, but I also have a big laser that I am creating short kits with, and a wide format printer/scanner for importing plans, enlarging and printing out as well as importing into the laser cutting software to make parts from.

Still in wood is a 1/8th scale B-25 that will be a mini Tootsie when completed, then an 1/8th scale B-17 and P-61, and maybe a few fighters.

Sad part is I enjoy building them more than flying them.
