I won't be traveling for awhile

Hi,
Just started treatment for Leukemia. Did first round of chemo today. Luckily my son-in-law will be keeping up on anything that's needs to be done with my rig. The motorhome is sitting in the driveway on the side of my sticks & bricks, plugged into a 30 amp rv receptacle.
Hope to be on the road again soon.
For now,
Wishing everyone safe travels.
Bill

Hi Bill
Sad to hear that your health has taken an unwanted detour . . . And hoping the chemo treatments begin to work for you soon . . . Getting that leukemia under control and having you feeling better. Also to having more energy to enjoy life. Don't give up on using your RV. Keeping your spirits up, enjoying activities you like, is a major way to get past this. Wishing you good health (sooner than later) and many more memories - > created 'from the road'. Cheers!

Thank you everyone.
Had second round of chemo, seems they found monoclonal antibodies help fight leukemia. So far feeling ok.

Sorry you are going through this. Wishing you a relatively quick and full recovery, and that you're back behind the wheel soon, smiling and healthy.

A neighbor completed her chemo treatments for leukemia last month. Spoke to her yesterday; she and one of her dobermans were just completing a one mile walk and she said she was feeling pretty good. I'm 74 and she's older than me. Prayers sent and wishing you a complete recovery.

When I went through cancer treatments, I leaned into God even more than normal. He can give you peace as you travel this road to recovery.
Praying for full recovery over the nasty that is cancer.

Hello there..just wanted to send well wishes and strength your way. Had a little colon cancer myself 10 years ago and I would say don’t hesitate to ask for help and rest when you need to. Sorry you’ve hit this bump in the road.

Best wishes that they quickly get things cleaned up. My cousin had a similar diagnosis 5-6 years back and is currently running at 100%. Based on my own run in with another form, I think what is very important is your own attitude - if you firmly believe you will pull thru, your odds go way up. If you think you will lose....

Thank you everyone for your well wishes. It's hard to look out the window seeing the rv sitting there. But it keeps me looking ahead.
