Injuries you've had while camping?
Just walked into the corner of the front living room slide. Ouch.
Note to self.......buy some of the foamy things to put on the corners. That's twice this season!

As long as you didn't bend the corner, the skin will grow back. I think there is a question that needs to be asked referring to ancestry.

No damage to the RV. Just need to pay attention to where I'm walking.

you may still be able to get the some foamy things for about $1.00 at Family Dollar. A lot less of a pain then what you've got there.

Pool noodles from the Dollar Store. Cut a chunk out of the middle at 45-degree angles to help them go around the corners.
Or, I just took pipe insulation. It seems the corners were the only thing that ever caught me. Ironically, once they were installed- I haven't hit them.

Dunno if it qualifies as an "injury" but I got bitten by a spider on Friday before we came home on Sunday this last trip.
Yeah, it's finally in the healing stage, after 10 days.
Little bugger DIED, I hope painfully.

After having a new awning arm installed I ended up cutting my face just above my eye after coming into contact with some type of clear plastic attachment as I was moving the level up the arm. To make life easier I had marked the hole on each arm and was leaning over the arm to see the marking. I have no idea what the plastic piece was but it's gone.

OUCH! If you want a permanent solution Camco has it:

For $12, IMHO better than the other solutions

Ouch. I've bonked my head a couple of times, but never drew blood. I hope you heal fast, and find a solution that works.
On a lighter note, I seem to always come down with a severe EYE and BACK problem when the time comes to break camp and head towards home...... EYE just can't SEE myself going BACK to work!

Ouch! I can feel your pain. Did the same thing and knock my self out cold. Woke up under the RV and bleeding... Foam floaties are the first to go on now!

I have injured my liver a sip at a time on numerous occasions. It's the darnedest thing. Barley pop, fermented corn and cane sugar, just can't help it.
Sometimes I run my head and knees into hard inanimate objects for no appearant reason.

You're looking at it all wrong. You are curing the symptom. Wear a helmet. Good everywhere.

DH came down with a case of pink eye as we were leaving Disney. I ended up driving the entire 13 hr ride home that day with no relief driver. Talk about one tired puppy. My worst injury was my pride when I first bought the tt and had to let the campground host back it in to the site for me on my first trip out.
My only other camping ailment hits me every time we pull into a campground. It's a disease called laziness. The only cure for it is a long weekend of lounging in a zero gravity recliner with occasional nocturnal sipping on a tasty adult beverage.

I put a lump on my forehead running into a slide while looking at RV's on a dealer's lot. Salesman was speechless for a moment.

I have hit the same corner multiple times on my 38FL...... cut a couple of 6" strips of red 1" streamer and taped them to the corners. They wave around with the slightest breeze and seem to have done the trick

I've had my back go out multiple times either removing or replacing
my WD hitch head or lifting old fashioned heavy bicycles in/out of
the bed of the truck....
It sucks to have your back acting up just when the camping trip is
getting good

Backing out of the cargo area of the Yukon, missed the step and slid my shin down the hitch sway control mount point, taking skin off.
Kids thought it was neat that I was bleeding so much (darn daily baby aspirin).
And KyDan I had my back go last time I stayed at a hotel with a mattress that was too firm. I wonder if you have thought about a memory foam topper. We are getting one for the trailer for both of our backs.
