Old Charter bourbon - for mixin'

Maker's Mark on the rocks for sippin'

Red Stag is an excellent mixer, but it tastes like cough syrup right out of the bottle. That being said, do a 4/3 mix with lemonade and enjoy.

I like Jim Beam, Beam Black, Beam Rye, Crown Royal, and Eagles Best for the robust stuff.

Sippin: Knob Creek whiskey.
Mixin' with Coke: Evan Williams whiskey (like JD but cheaper) or Cruzan rum.
Degreasing engines and/or just killing brain cells: Boilo (all you folks with any coal mining heritage will get that one!)

JB Black... for the bourbon
Korbel VSOP for the manhatten
Ice Hole butterscotch schnapps, Rum Chatta, tequila rose, and anything else that catches our eye for playing pass the bottle around the fire.

often times we will play no peak grab bag with the single shot bottles at the local store. This means no looking when you buy it, when you brag it from the bag, and when you drink it!!!

You must try Rum Chata if you can find it. It's made here in Wisconsin. I keep threatening to put it on my oatmeal in the morning!

Alas, On August 1st, 2011 I promised myself I'd cut back on the shibbying. I've slipped a couple of times in the last 6 months. But, I was able to lose over 80lbs, and save an honest to goodness $100/week.

"What's mine say?"
"Dude!"
"What's mine say?"
"Sweet!"
"I know, but what does mine say?"

Repeat ad nauseam...

Oh, and don't mess with Raylan. Definitely the best bad-ass good guy on TV today.

I'm camping, sitting by the fire, drinking some Jim, and wishing the weekend would stay so I don't have to go somewhere else.

Enjoyed some Markers Mark and Sprite tonight by the backyard firepit. Now in the travel trailer, camping in the backyard with the kids. Earlier, the neighbor told me that whiskey (ie. Makers Mark) is to expensive to drink. I told him, because of kids, wife, and life, I rarely get to have more than two drinks. On the few occasions I get to have a drink or two, I am making them large, strong, and expensive.

I will throw my opinion in here - and that's Jack Daniels with Honey added. And I suggest drinking it chilled as the label suggests

friend an I was up nort 2 years ago picking up a snowmobile he purchased and a guy sitting at the bar we stopped at before turning in to the hotel for the night said he would buy us a drink but it was his choice ! This was his choice.
liquid ice is fairly new in the energy drink market and truly imo tastes better than red bull and the like .
patron cafe was another shot drink we found while snowmobiling up nort a few years ago . coffee flavored tequila. shaken not stirred
