I did — as well as the eagle. Is this your “thing” with your collection?

What drives you to buy a particular knife?

+1 I've carried one for longer than I care to remember. All my vehicles have one in the glove box as well. But I did recently upgrade my daily carry to a 300. A bit bulkier, okay a lot bulkier , but much more functionality. See Here.

Yep. that's mine all opened. Amazing how many branches the tree saw has removed at our cabin.

In my case, I sometimes take a small sloyd knife with me. Even though the blade is < 3", it is a belt knife and Kalifornia frowns on carrying it so it lives either in the toolbox or my other gear bag. I seldom use it although it would be handy at times.
Leatherman when hunting, fishing, or hiking. Fillet knife for those rare occasions when I keep a fish.

My EDC is a Benchmade Mini Griptilian, but I also have numerous others that I rotate through.

When camping and hiking I carry a Tops Tahoma Field Knife:

Same here. Mora knives are some of the best inexpensive knives you can buy. My favorite is an older Triflex steel model. Sharp enough to shave with and easy to get it that way:

My hunting knife has been a Case sheath knife since 1974. My EDC is an Old Timer just like the one that my dad carried for over 40 years. I bought mine to match his. When he was really in bad shape, he gave me his knife and told me not to loose it. I keep that one in my top dresser drawer. When I get to missing him, I will pull it out and talk to him. He was one hard man but sure loved his family, he just didn't talk about it.

Most of the time I also have a Leatherman Super Tool 200 that I found in the middle of the road just outside Devils Lake State Park.

On year I gave my 4 daughters and their husbands all Leatherman tools. I bought 15 of them at a TSA auction for $15. I carry one of the extras in my car, truck, atv, motorcycle and my wife's purse.

Puma Tanto and Swiss Army Knife

Title says it all; almost.

The Swiss Army Knife lives in my pocket, the Puma Tanto lives clipped to my pocket, and the KaBar (purchased in 1970, seemed appropriate at the time, carried all through my service) now sits at the side of my desk.

Individual post titles don't show in the mobile app so the title doesn't say anything for me.

Then observe the body. Three knives (that I'm willing to admit to).

Swiss Army Knife

Puma Tanto

Long serving KaBar

Just mine, no judgments

Most would consider this a Safe Queen, but with the 20CV blade, the great action and the durability of all of the materials used, I will be carrying this one for quite some time when I’m not at work.

No judgements at all... just thought you'd want to know some of your post with information (pointed to by yourself) isn't seen by everyone. I'll move on.
