Naming your RV?

Do folks name their RV like someone might name a boat?

Some do--I DON'T!!

PS-It's simular to "don't love something that can't love you back". So, don't name something that isn't ALIVE!

Don't speak so loud, if my bride hears this I will have to endure some bizarre conversation that involves the DW’s thinking processes that came up for said name.

Carol says "Roxy" short for Rockwood. I call it the RV. I didn't name my boat and not sure I can call it anything but "The RV"

Took ours to a state park this summer where we were clearly a bit large to fit in. Mostly popups, tents, and small TT's. On day two we went for a walk around the park road looking at this and that. As our 44' monster came into view my wife comes out with a line from the theme song of one of the most annoying sitcoms of our childhood. She looks at our rig and says, "And then there's Maude." It stuck...

To each his/her own. Never named one of my RV's ... even when I think about it, I begin to hear Sammy Kershaw's song warming up in my mind. Poor Earl ... he really was the Charlie Daniels of the torque wrench ...

Since I'm a retired commercial pilot and our TT is an Aviator, my DW named it "Bomber". Actually, at times, I call it "Bummer".

Though neither of out campers is particularly large, we call one "the big one" and the other "the little one" to know which is being spoken of at that moment.
