New from old power

Anyone think this will ever make it to mass production, the torque produced would be substantial.

I wonder what happened to that engine? That video was produced prolly in the late 1970's, or early 1980's.

Rights to the motor were eventually acquired by Axial Vector Engine Co. who basically ruined a good thing. They took the conventional things that worked well out and went stupid with the "everything has to be new tech" idea. Ceramic ringless pistons and cylinders, Solenoid operated Computer controlled valves, Peizo fuel injection, etc etc etc.

The company is now out of business, and the website has articles about woman's shoes. I feel it was a great opportunity missed.
