Speaking of the NFL, it has just been announced on the local news here that the new Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington that was called Cowboys Statium has just been renamed the AT&T Stadium.

Yep - all 32 NFL teams are shown - what's your point?

As for me (and several thousands of other NFL fans in the DFW area), we have no love for the Cowboys. It started for me in 1989.

Go Forty Niners

I live in PA now but never really considered myself a Pennsylvanian when It comes to sports. The only team worth a &*^% in PA is the Hershey Bears AHL hockey team.

Kind of funny you mentioned that - as you know, the "old" Texas Stadium is in Irving ( a Dallas suburb) and was where the Cowboys played until their move to their new stadium in Arlington. It took about a year for the national TV sports commentators to start saying Cowboy Stadium in Arlington rather than Texas Stadium in Dallas during a game.

Sort of like our DFW International Airport here - a lot of people, including the national news people, will say its in Dallas when it actually is located in Dallas in Dallas county and Fort Worth in Tarrant county.

NO, NO, NO!! It's not football season until the St. Louis Cardinals win the World Series again this year.

Even though I grew up in southeast Texas and the Houston Oilers played just a little over an hour away, I have always been a Dallas Cowboys fan. 1989 was a painful time for a lot of us Cowboy fans. The last 10 years haven't been a joy ride either but I'm sticking with my blue and silver. Go Cowboys!

You're all wrong, the only team is the one that went undefeated and is struggling now.

And I respect your opinion and position on this and will say there are more Cowboys fans here than non fans, but JJ has tested their loyalty severely and I have a difficult time believing they are still "Americas Team".

If the injuries the Cowboys have suffered so far in pre season training are any indication of how they will perform in regular season, they are just another 8-8 team again this season.

Very well said B. There is no doubt JJ has made it very difficult to be a "proud" Cowboys fan. His team has done nothing since Jimmy Johnson left and I'm not sure that will change any time in the near future as I don't think Romo is our guy. But, I gotta stick with "The Boys"

Are ya' ready for some football? This guy is...

So the slogan will be "home of dropped calls and dropped passes".

Grew up watching the Cowboys and still believe Tom Landry was the only coach the Cowboys ever had. (Well, JJ didn't do too bad).
