Not liking the start of this day

Here it is 2:30am EST and getting ready to take Mardy to the airport to go back to Anchorage. It makes us so happy when he comes home for a visit, but DAMN it sure is sad to leave him at the airport. TOWTA and I both will have leaking eyes. Thank goodness traffic will be light.

I doubt that very much Buck1032.

We have 2 wonderful sons and are very proud of them both. We love for them to be home with us and enjoy doing things with them. God surely blessed us. It's just too bad one lives in Arkansas and the other in Alaska.

Very true OC. I stated that as little humor. I ran off and joined the Navy at the ripe age of 17. When I would come home on leave my parents would have new cars, installed a pool, built an addition. Seems they partied nicely after I left home.

Funny, when my brother went to the Navy, my dad bought a push style power mower and threw the old push reel mower in the trash, when I left for college, he threw the power mower in the trash and bought a riding lawn mower. Never did understand that.

You sound like you and the wife are very proud parents. That might be the best way to count success.

Are the kids providing you guys with grandkids yet. Those little ones are my focus...

I have had 3 successes in life, 1st was marrying Frankie 28Aug60, 2nd & 3rd were having our sons and living long enough to see them grow into fine young men.

Yes, we have 2 beautiful granddaughters (26 & 20) and a handsome grandson (16).
