I hope it warms up for the weekend. I have three small projects I'd like to complete on the trailer before we leave at the end of this month and head to Cherry Hill Park.

Kayaked today but it was windy. It did get into the 70's but still windy. We are south of Edge Water on the IC waterway. I know it will get warm in a few and still none of the white stuff.

It sounds like the weather this year is just not cooperating. It's cold and either raining or snowing. We're at the start of the golfing season here in S.C. and the weather is not conducive to golfing, let alone camping. (I'm just south of Myrtle Beach.) The poor golfers have prepaid a premium price to play at this time of year and half of them are sitting in bars waiting for some decent golfing weather.

I had planned a trip for this month but it doesn't look like I'm going to make it. It's too cold for me. It's killing me to walk out my front door every morning and see my brand new camper just sitting there! And the long range forecast is for more cold and rainy days. In the 30's overnight and around 50 during the day. Brrrrrrrr!

lol - IF (and that is a big if) it actually hits 50 at anytime this week, we are pulling the camper and heading out this weekend. At this point anything over 40 is considered balmy.

Same here (in Greensboro NC). Brand new MH just sitting in driveway. However, I've been able to sneak out there and watch the NCAA's in the motorhome while wife does her thing in the house. That's what I guess you'd call "pretend camping!"

You know, it may not be getting away, but hanging out in the camper, even in the driveway or backyard, has that "treehouse" feeling Enjoy your basketball

OK, so the plan was to hitch up the Silverback on Tuesday and take it to a local RV park to dewinterize it. We had planned to spend a couple of days in it before leaving on Friday for the FROG rally in D.C. There might be a slight change in plans on when we dewinterize. We’re expecting a low temperature of 21 degrees on Tuesday. It’s not supposed to be this cold or snowy in St. Louis this late in March.

The brunt of this snow storm has even arrived yet. The snow is heavy and wet.

I don't like the cold and snow as it is, but this one has me very upset with Mother Nature.

Do you think that she really cares if you are upset with her?

Any reason you don't put your FW under cover considering you have a barn and other buildings?

Keep up B ....
I mentioned a week ago today that I pulled camper out of hibernation as there was no snow in the forecast.
I got bit by mother nature and it hurts.
I'd pull it back in but 3 days from now its
"Supposedly" going to B in the 50's.
